2 People Injured In A Two-Vehicle Crash In Grattan Township (Kent County, MI)

The Kent County Sheriff’s Office reported a two-vehicle crash that injured two people. The crash happened near Lincoln Avenue and 5 Mile road in Grattan Township on Thursday. 

According to the police, a 62-year-old Cannon Township man was traveling in a Toyota Tacoma east on 5 Mile road. He failed to stop at a red sign at Lincoln Lake Avenue. 

The Tacoma was struck by a 23-year-old Belding man traveling in a Dodge Ram. 

The 62-year-old died following the collision. The 23-year-old man suffered severe injuries from the crash. An investigation into the crash is underway.

The vehicle fire was extinguished by the Grattan and Cannon township.
