According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a multi-vehicle accident was reported on Friday.
The officials stated that the crash happened on Loop 303 when a car crossed the southbound lanes into the northbound lanes.
At around 2:45 p.m. the Rural Metro Fire responded to the scene where multiple people were extricated including a small child.
The officials reported that the child and the mother were taken to the hospital.
The condition of the victims is unknown at the moment.
No additional information regarding the crash was provided by the Arizona DPS.
The identity of the victims is awaited by the officials.
