The Phoenix Police Department reported a motorcycle accident on Sunday.
The accident occurred near Lone Mountain and Cave Creek roads just after 5 p.m.
The officials arrived to find both victims on the road in critical conditions. They were then rushed to the hospital.
The identities and the present conditions of the victims have not been disclosed.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
The area in which the crash occurred was shut for the duration of the investigation but has since been reopened.
It is not known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
There are no other details available at this time.
