2 People Injured In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Spokane (Spokane, WA)

The Spokane Fire Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Monday night.

A full-sized crew cab pickup was stuck inside a split-level house in the 7100 block of North Fleming Street. The car struck a tree and a parked car before hitting the house, suggesting that it was traveling at a high rate of speed. According to the officials, the car entered the house through a basement bedroom where a woman was sleeping. 

A man had to be freed from the car because he was trapped inside, the extrication took about 35 minutes. Both were taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries. The officials have not offered an update on the conditions of both victims. The identities of the victims have not been disclosed. 

The crash is being investigated by the police. There are no other details available at this time.
