2 people injured after a two-vehicle crash in Fresno (Fresno, CA)

On Monday, two people were injured following a traffic collision in Fresno.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place on Highway 41 and Shields Avenue. The preliminary investigation revealed that a Mazda male driver drove into the middle lane and crashed into a Toyota Corolla for undetermined reasons. Due to the impact, the Mazda rolled over on the road. On arrival, emergency crews rushed the Mazda driver to the hospital with major injuries.

On the other hand, the driver of the Toyota sustained moderate injuries. Both of the victims were transported to Community Regional Medical Center. Officials believe that drugs and alcohol were not involved in the accident. No additional information has been provided by the authorities.

An investigation is continuing.
