2 People Injured After A Triple-Vehicle Crash On Michigan Highway 51 (Paw Paw Township, MI)

Authorities responded to a triple-vehicle crash on Wednesday at 5:30 a.m. in Paw Paw Township that injured two people. 

According to the authorities, a 26-year-old Arkansas man driving a pickup near Eagle Lake road sideswiped a southbound semi-truck before traveling off the centerline and hitting a box truck.

The 26-year-old is expected to survive and has been hospitalized. The box truck driver, a 50-year-old, was taken to the hospital for life-threatening injuries.

The 61-year-old semi-truck driver was not injured in the crash. 

According to the police, seatbelts were worn by all occupants. Alcohol or drugs does not seem to be a factor in the crash. 

Additional information regarding the crash is currently unavailable. An investigation into the crash is under review.
