On Monday night, two people were injured following a traffic accident in Apple Valley.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place at about 5:35 p.m. at the intersection of Rimrock Road and Corwin Road. The Apple Valley Fire Protection District firefighters responded to the scene. On arrival, responders found a pickup truck and an SUV with major damage.
Crews freed one person from a vehicle and that person was listed in critical condition. A helicopter responded to airlift the person to Loma Linda University Medical Center. The second victim incurred only minimal injuries. No other details are made available.
The crash remains under review.
