2 people injured after a rollover crash in North County (Valley Center, CA)

On Tuesday, two people were taken to a hospital following a rollover crash in North County.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle collision took place at about 9 a.m. on Valley Center Road. The early reports showed that a 56-year-old man was driving a Lamborghini southbound on Valley Center Road in the No. 1 lane while a 60-year-old was driving a BMW M5 in the No. 2 lane. At some point of time, the two vehicles collided, causing both vehicles to roll over.

The Lamborghini driver sustained major, non-life threatening injuries and was flown to a local hospital. The BMW driver received minor to moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to a hospital. Officials believe that alcohol and drugs were not involved in the accident. No other details are made available.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
