2 people in critical condition after an auto-pedestrian accident in Vermont Knolls (Los Angeles, CA)

On Thursday night, two people suffered major injuries after getting struck by a car in Vermont Knolls.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian accident took place in the 8500 block of South Vermont Avenue a little after 8:30 p.m. The early reports showed that a vehicle hit two pedestrian as a result of which the victims were pinned under the car.

On arrival, emergency personnel rescued and rushed the patients to a nearby hospital with critical injuries. The identities of the victims have not been revealed at this time. No other information has been provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
