Two people were hurt after a traffic collision Tuesday on the south side.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place on Loop 410 near Roosevelt Avenue. The early reports showed that an 18-wheeler lost control on Loop 410 near Roosevelt Avenue at about 12:10 a.m. The reports also revealed that another man driving a large truck with a trailer had difficulty seeing in the rain when it collided with the semi-truck.
The front of the truck was wedged underneath the big rig. Both drivers only incurred minor injuries as a result of the wreck. They were taken to a nearby hospital, but only as a precaution. It seemed that heavy rain contributed to the crash. No other details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
