2 people hurt after a solo-vehicle crash in Petaluma (Petaluma, CA)

On Thursday, two people were hurt following a traffic accident in Petaluma.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place on Marie Drive. The preliminary investigation indicated that the Transit bus was southbound on Marie Drive approaching East Washington Street when it drifted off the roadway and crashed into a fence on the south side of Maria Drive.

The driver and the passenger both received minimal injuries as a result of the crash. On arrival, paramedics provided medical aid to the victims at the scene and later released them. The traffic control system controlling the signal lights for the intersection was damaged due to the collision.

Crews were fixing the traffic control signal but it will take several days to complete the repairs, officials mentioned. Temporary stop signs and lights were placed at the intersection. No further details were provided.

The crash remains under review.
