On Sunday, two people were hurt following a rollover crash in San Diego.
As per the initial information, the single-car accident took place on the Boston Avenue on-ramp. The preliminary investigation showed that a Mercedes going at a high rate of speed lost control and hit a center divider. After that, the vehicle went over all the lanes and drove up the steep right-shoulder embankment.
Finally, the vehicle crossed the Boston Avenue on-ramp, went up a second embankment then flipped back down onto the on-ramp. On arrival, medics took the male driver and his female passenger to UCSD Hospital with minimal injuries. Officials shut down the on-ramp for over an hour as crews worked at the scene. No other details are available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
