2 people hospitalized after an auto-pedestrian collision in Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV)

On Tuesday evening, two people suffered injuries following a collision in Las Vegas.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian crash took place at East Tropicana Avenue and Duke Ellington Way. On arrival, emergency crews took the pedestrian and the driver of the vehicle to an area hospital for treatment.

The extent of the injuries for the driver is unknown at this time; however, the pedestrian sustained serious injuries. Eastbound traffic on Tropicana was blocked from Las Vegas Boulevard to Koval Lane as crews worked at the scene. Drivers were advised to avoid the area. No further details were provided.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
