On Monday, two people suffered injuries following a traffic collision on Interstate 580.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash was reported at 6:13 p.m. at South Carson Street and Highway 50. The early reports revealed that two ground ambulances responded to the crash scene.
One victim was rushed to the trauma ward at Renown Medical Center in Reno, whereas the other person was transported to Carson Tahoe Hospital for treatment of their injuries. The identities of the injured victims have not been released at this time. No other details are immediately available.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
