Two people received injuries after a traffic collision early Friday morning in Sparks.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place at about 5 a.m. on East Greg Street and McCarran Boulevard. The early reports showed that a Dodge truck was making a left turn onto McCarran from Greg when a Lexus sedan headed northbound went through a red light.
It was also reported that the truck crashed into a light pole. Both drivers were transported to a hospital and are being treated for minor injuries. Officials believe that DUI was involved in this crash. No other details have been provided by the authorities.
An investigation is underway.
