Two people received injuries following a rollover crash Monday Night on South Meadows Parkway.
As per the initial information, multiple agencies actively responded to the area of South Meadows Parkway and Wilbur May Parkway after getting reports of a solo-vehicle accident Monday night just before 10:15 p.m.
On arrival, they found two people trapped inside a vehicle requiring extrication. Emergency crews were able to remove them and rushed the occupants to the hospital. One person reportedly had life threatening injuries.
The preliminary reports showed that an SUV was heading east on South Meadows when it reportedly failed to maintain control of the vehicle and struck the median, causing the vehicle to flip over. Impairment seemed to be a factor in the accident.
South Meadows Parkway was shut down in both directions between Wilbur May Parkway and Double Diamond Parkway for several hours while crews worked at the scene. The road was re-opened just after 6 a.m. No other details are available.
The crash remains under investigation.
