2 people hospitalized after a rollover accident on Katy Freeway (Houston, TX)

On early Tuesday, two people were hospitalized following a rollover accident on Katy Freeway.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place at around 2:45 a.m. at the intersection of Fry Road and Franz Road. The early reports indicated that a vehicle failed to stay in its lane when it ran off the roadway and rolled at least once.

One female was airlifted to a hospital while a male victim was taken to the hospital by an ambulance. Reportedly, both are expected to survive. Authorities confirmed that the man and woman were intoxicated at the time of the accident. The deputies are trying to determine who was driving the vehicle. No other details are available.

The incident remains under investigation.
