2 people hospitalized after a multi-vehicle accident on 91 Freeway (Corona, CA)

On Monday morning, two people were injured following a multi-vehicle accident on 91 Freeway.

The three-vehicle pile-up took place at about 10:40 a.m. on the westbound 91 Freeway to the northbound 71 Freeway. The preliminary investigation showed that a Sedan, another car, and a pickup crashed for undetermined reasons.

On arrival, medics transported two seniors from a Sedan to a Riverside medical facility with minor to moderate injuries. No other injuries were reported by the responders. Officials initially closed both lanes of the transition bridge. CHP officers moved traffic around the crash site and reopened shortly after. No other details are available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
