According to the Washington State Patrol, a motor vehicle accident was reported on Tuesday.
The officials reported a collision between a vehicle and a semi-truck occurred on State Routr 221 and MP 4 four miles north of Paterson.
The investigation reported that 24-year-old Adrian Brambila Ramirez of Sunnyside was traveling southbound on State Route 221 when he crossed the centerline and struck a semi heading northbound.
Medics transported Brambila Ramirez and Jose Lopez Ruiz, 26, driver of the semi to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The officials revealed that drugs and alcohol were not the factors involved in the crash.
The semi-truck was loaded with onions and blocked the roadway for a couple of hours.
Troopers are investigating the crash at the moment.
