On Monday night, a head-on crash in Clarksville left two people in hospitals.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place near the intersection of Madison Street and Denny Road shortly before 7 p.m. The early reports showed that a vehicle was traveling in the wrong direction on Madison Street when it crashed into another vehicle head-on.
On arrival, emergency responders airlifted one victim to Nashville who is listed in critical, but stable condition. A second driver was also transported to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition. The eastbound lanes of Madison Street were closed as crews worked at the scene. The roadway has since reopened. No other details were provided.
An investigation into the crash is continuing.
