2 People Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Goodyear (Goodyear, AZ)

The Goodyear Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Sunday evening. The accident happened at the 155th Ave and Indian School Rd intersection at around 5:30 p.m. 

The collision involved three vehicles and one of them caught fire. The events leading up to the collision are not yet known at this time.

Two men were pronounced dead at the scene. Three people were injured. The victims of the collision were identified as 58-year-old Douglas Shippy and 43-year-old Brian Rose.

Police say they detained Andrew Lugo, 50 for manslaughter, endangerment, aggravated DUI with a passenger under the age of 15, extreme DUI, and exhibition of speed, despite the fact that the cause of the fatal crash is still unknown.
