2 people dead after a broadside collision near Wasco (Wasco, CA)

Two people were killed after a broadside collision Tuesday night near Wasco.

As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the area of Magnolia Avenue and Kimberlina Road on reports of a car crash. The early reports showed that an SUV and a white sedan collided, resulting in one ejection, two pin-ins and two people possibly not breathing. At about 9:40 p.m. the Wasco man was driving a Honda Accord northbound on Magnolia Avenue which had a stop sign.

At that point of time, a person yet to be identified was driving a Toyota RAV4 westbound on Kimberlina Road. The reports also revealed that the man in the Honda ran the stop sign on Magnolia Avenue, entered the intersection directly into the way of the RAV4, ending in a broadside collision.

Due to the impact, the Honda’s front right passenger was thrown from the car and died at the scene. The driver of the RAV4 was rushed to Kern Medical through a Hall ambulance. No other details are available.
