The Sacramento Police Department reported a multi-vehicle accident in Sacramento on Sunday.
According to the officials, a collision occurred in the area of Garden Highway and Northgate Boulevard at around 12:48 a.m.
According to the department, one man and a woman were pronounced dead at the scene, after the fire department ejected them from the vehicle.
The Police reported that two other individuals were injured and taken to a local hospital. They suffered non-life threatening injuries, stated the official.
The identities of the victims are yet to be disclosed by the Police Department.
The incident is being examined by the detectives of the Sacramento Police Department.
