2 pedestrians injured after a crash at gas station in Highland Park; driver arrested for DUI (Los Angeles, CA)

Two pedestrians were injured after being struck by a vehicle at a gas station in Highland Park while a driver was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian collision took place in the 100 block of N. Avenue 52 at a Chevron station just after 11 p.m. The early reports showed that two pedestrians were hit and had multiple injuries.

The driver of a wrecked car was detained on suspicion of felony DUI as a result of allegedly causing injuries. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear. The identities of the injured victims have not been released at the time. No other details are available.

The incident remains under active review.
