2 pedestrians, including a 10-year-old boy injured after a hit-and-run crash in Seattle (Seattle, WA)

On Monday, a man and a 10-year-old boy, suffered injuries following an auto-pedestrian collision in Seattle.

As per the initial information, the hit-and-run crash took place on 4th Avenue South and South Jackson Street in the Chinatown/International District before 8 a.m. The early reports revealed that a car struck both the pedestrians while they were crossing the street. The boy was crossing the street with her mother identified as Sierra Waff. According to the woman, the driver missed her by inches.

The driver drove away from the scene after the collision. On arrival, medics transported the two victims to the hospital in stable condition. Both of them are recovering from non-life-threatening injuries. Officials shut down one lane of traffic on South Jackson Street for less than an hour as crews worked at the scene. The lane has since reopened. Several bystanders called 911 to report the vehicle’s license plate. No other details are made available.
