On Friday night, a young boy and a girl were hospitalized following a DUI crash in the City of Industry.
As per the initial information, the traffic collision was reported at about 11:45 p.m. on Valley Boulevard and Basetdale Avenue. The early reports showed that a DUI driver crashed into a parked truck with a young boy and girl sitting in the bed of the truck.
On arrival, medical personnel provided medical aid to one of the victims with a leg injury and the other patient suffered unspecified injuries. Both minors were taken to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody at the scene for DUI. No other details are available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
