On Tuesday evening, authorities responded to a two-car crash that claimed two lives and injured one in New Orleans East. The crash happened on Haynes Boulevard and Edgelake court intersection.
Officers arrived at the scene and found three people involved in the crash.
According to NOPD, the female victim died at the scene. The male passenger died on the way to the hospital. The SUV’s male driver was rushed to an area hospital and is reportedly stable.
The SUV driver traveling north on Edgelake Court collided with the other vehicle driven by the female on Haynes Blvd.
Identification of the deceased is pending.
