2 crew members hurt after a fire truck slides on ice, rolls onto its side on Highway 395 (Spokane County, WA)

Two crew members were hurt after a Spokane fire truck rolled onto its side early Friday morning due to snow and ice coating roads throughout the Spokane County.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle accident took place just after 5 a.m. in Spokane County. The early reports showed that firefighters were traveling north on Highway 395 close to Wild Rose Road responding to a slide-off when they attempted to slow the vehicle and lost control.

The truck then skidded across the northbound lanes before toppling over. There were two crew members in the vehicle at the time of the accident. Both of them are fine but were transported to the hospital out of an abundance of caution. No other information is available.
