2 Adults, Toddler Died In A Fiery Motor Vehicle Crash Near Chippewa Street (Baton Rouge, LA)

The Baton Rouge Police Department responded to a fiery motor vehicle crash that claimed the life of two adults and a toddler. The crash happened on I-110 South near Chippewa Street on Tuesday around 6 a.m.

The victims were identified as Christopher Fisher, 48, Laterrica Williams, 41, and Christopher Fisher III, 3.

Williams was transported to the hospital and later died due to her injuries.

According to the investigators, they were traveling south on the interstate in a Chevrolet Silverado when it switched lanes and crashed into another vehicle. Following the collision, the truck hit a concrete guardrail and was engulfed in flames.

 The highway was shut down following the crash and has since reopened. The wreck is under investigation.
