A fatal collision occurred on Saturday evening in north Phoenix. The accident resulted in the death of a 19-year-old boy, identified as Matthew Allen-Winchester.
The multi-vehicle accident involved a motorcycle and a car. It was reported around 5:30 p.m. near Cave Creek and Nisbet roads, south of Greenway Parkway. Allen-Winchester, who was riding the motorcycle, was critically injured and was transported to a nearby hospital. He later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
According to police, Allen-Winchester was travelling south on Cave Creek Road when he collided with a car attempting to cross the street. The driver of the car remained at the scene, and investigators are working to determine any additional factors contributing to the fatal crash.
