According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in California on Friday.
The crash happened on the two-lane stretch of highway near Quebec Avenue at around 7 p.m.
According to the Police, the driver of the 2018 Honda Accord was traveling south on Highway 41 and tried to pass other traffic by crossing over southbound.
The driver crashed head-on with a 2006 Honda Odyssey van carrying a woman and 4 children.
According to the Kings County Coroner’s Office, 19-year-old Arik Flores, Jose Molina Jr, and Aleida Ayala were identified and later pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
