19-Year-Old Carson Smith Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Goodyear (Goodyear, AZ)

According to the Police, a motor vehicle accident was reported in Goodyear on Tuesday morning. 

The officials stated that 40-year-old Christopher Clark ran a red light near Interstate 10 and Pebble Creek Parkway and struck a motorcyclist and another car. 

The incident happened around 1:50 a.m. 

Upon the arrival of the officers, 19-year-old Carson Smith was found unresponsive. 

Officials stated that Smith was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead by the authorities. 

No information regarding the condition of the second driver involved in the crash was provided by the officials. 

The preliminary investigation reported that Clark was driving under the influence of drugs. 

The Police booked him on charges including vehicular manslaughter, aggravated assault, driving under the influence, driving under the influence of drugs and reckless driving.
