Officials responded to a single-vehicle crash that claimed a life. The crash happened on the Manchester Expressway.
Coroner Buddy Bryan of Muscogee County identified the victim as 19-year-old Aleiyah Donald. Donald was pronounced dead by the Bryan at 10:42 p.m.
It is unknown what caused the crash. No additional details regarding the crash were provided by the officials.
An investigation into the crash is underway. The Manchester Expressway was shut down by the Columbus Police Department for several hours near the I-185 overpass in front of the Peachtree Car wash.
