On Tuesday, 17-year-old George Franklin lost his life following a traffic accident in Fresno.
As per the initial information, the fatal two-vehicle crash took place at about 3:15 p.m. on Blackstone Avenue and Herndon Avenue in which two pickup trucks were involved. The preliminary investigation showed that a 2008 Ford F-450, driven by George Franklin, attempted to make a U-turn from northbound Blackstone when another pickup truck crashed into his vehicle.
Due to the impact, both the vehicles overturned. George Franklin suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation is ongoing.
