17-Year-Old Boy Killed In A Motorcycle Accident In Shasta County (Shasta County, CA)

The California Highway Patrol reported a motorcycle accident in Shasta County on Saturday. The accident occurred on Dry Creek Road, just north of Sagebrush Trail, at around 1:17 p.m. 

According to the officials, a single motorcycle was involved in the collision. The motorcycle was heading down the road at a high speed when the driver lost control. This caused the vehicle to crash into a guardrail. 

The motorcyclist was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed at this time. However, the officials have confirmed that the victim was a 17-year-old boy.

The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details.
