16-Year-Old Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Tucson (Tucson, AZ)

The Tucson Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Monday morning. The accident happened between South Atterbury Wash Way and East Mary Ann Cleveland Way at around 7:30 a.m.

According to police, the Toyota Corolla was traveling east on Mary Ann Cleveland Way when it veered into the oncoming lanes of traffic and struck the Toyota Tundra pickup traveling west. A 16-year-old female was found to be the Toyota Corolla’s driver and was declared dead at the scene. Her parents were informed of her death. 

The driver of the Tundra, a man in his 30s, was examined on the spot and was not intoxicated at the time of the collision. He suffered from minor injuries.

The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials.
