15-Year-Old Injured In A Pedestrian Crash In Dearborn (Dearborn, MI)

Authorities responded to a pedestrian crash at Schaefer and Paul streets that critically injured a teen in Dearborn.  

According to Dearborn Police, a 15-year-old boy was struck by a car while crossing the street and not using the crosswalk. When the boy was hit on Schaefer, the right lane stopped, but cars in the left center lane kept going.

EMS transported the boy to the hospital. The car driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with further investigations. 

Speed or alcohol does not seem to be a factor in the crash. Further details relating to the crash were not provided by the officials. 

The crash remains under investigation.
