12-Year-Old Injured In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Northeast Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA)

The California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page reported a motor vehicle crash that injured a 12-year-old in northeast Bakersfield.

The crash happened near Water and North King streets Tuesday around 2:30 p.m.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the child was struck by a white GMC. 

The child was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries. The condition of the 12-year-old is currently not known. 

No information regarding the crash is currently available. 

An investigation into the crash is under review. 

It is not clear what caused the crash.
