12-Year-Old Boy Injured In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Farmington Hills (Farmington Hills, MI)

Police responded to a motor vehicle accident that injured a 12-year-old boy in Farmington Hills Thursday afternoon. 

The crash happened near the 10 Mile and Middlebelt Roads. It was reported that the 12-year-old was hit by a car while riding his bike. 

Upon the arrival of the police, he was assisted with medical treatment on the scene. He was transported to the Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital with a severe laceration on his leg. 

According to Farmington Hills Police Chief Jeff Kings, the boy had no broken bones, and the injuries were non-life-threatening. 

The car driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with further investigations. 

The cause of the crash is yet to be determined.

Officials are still investigating the crash.
