The Oakland Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Sunday. The collision happened in front of Grange Middle School in the neighborhood of East Tabor and Blossom avenues.
11-year-old Terra Starr-Jackson was brought to a nearby hospital with severe injuries, but it appears that he was later taken to the Oakland hospital.
Elena Lindsey McGraw-Ogans, 32, of Fairfield was the driver when she was stopped and taken to the Solano County Prison at midday on Thursday. Nevertheless, she was later released after posting bail.
The fatal crash is still being investigated by the officials. It is unclear what caused the crash. Additional information regarding the deadly crash is not available currently.
