11-Year-Old Killed, 3 Others Injured In A Multi-Vehicle Crash In Constantine Township (Constantine Township, MI)

The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s office reported a multi-vehicle crash in Constantine Township Sunday afternoon. 

The collision occurred when a 49-year-old woman from Bristol, IN, driving south on Klett road, failed to stop at a red sign at Quaker street. As she was heading east, she collided with a 32-year-old driver of an SUV.

The 11-year-old passenger died at the scene, and the other two kids sustained minor injuries. 

The SUV driver also sustained minor injuries.

Officials report that everyone involved in the crash wore a seatbelt.

Alcohol and drugs do not seem to be a factor involved.
