10-Year-Old Jayveon Gran Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ)

The Phoenix Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Phoenix on Tuesday morning.

The accident happened close to Thunderbird road and 23rd Avenue at around 8 a.m.

Police claim that a family member and 10-year-old Jayveon Grant walked between a pickup truck and trailer as the driver was preparing to turn right at a stop sign. 

When the pickup truck driver started to turn, the trailer allegedly struck Grant. 

When police arrived, they found the young boy suffering from severe injuries; he succumbed to the injuries later on.

The other family member involved in the collision was unharmed.

The pickup truck driver remained on the scene. 

The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials.
