The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office reported a motor vehicle accident on Thursday.
The accident occurred along Interstate 35 South and N. Frio Street just before 3 a.m.
According to the deputies, they were trying to pull over the victim’s car. The suspects then tried to evade arrest by speeding away.
A little while later, the driver went off the bridge as they missed the curve of the road. The car then crashed into the road below.
The deputies were able to take the man into custody. He was then taken to the hospital to be treated.
The passenger, identified as a woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identities of both the driver and the deceased have not been disclosed by the officials.
The fatal accident is still being investigated.
