1 Woman Died After A Single-Vehicle Crash In Laguna Niguel (Orange County, CA)

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department responded to a single-vehicle crash in Laguna Niguel that claimed a life. 

The crash occurred when a White Hyundai Kona struck a tree on the 25400 block of Camino Del Avion. The sole occupant of the car was trapped inside the vehicle. 

According to the OCSD spokesperson, Sgt. Scott Steinle, the female driver, died at the scene. 

Information regarding her identity was not immediately available. 

The northbound lanes of Camino Del Avion between Shipside Drive and Old Ranch road will remain shut for the next two to four hours following the investigation.

The investigation is being assisted by the Sheriff’s MART.
