Arizona authorities state that 19 people were inside a bus when the vehicle collided with a semi-trailer. The bus was occupied by students on a field trip on Sunday when the incident took place at around 9.30 AM. The motor vehicle collision between the semi-trailer and the school bus occurred near milepost 328, the State Department of Public Safety reported.
Kiarra Gordon, 17, was killed and 6 others were injured.
Authorities said the bus was pushed into a van, owing to the slowed down traffic from another rollover crash that morning.
