1 person seriously injured after an auto-pedestrian crash on Tucson’s west side (Tucson, AZ)

On Thursday, one person suffered serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle on Tucson’s west side.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian collision took place on West Grant Road. The preliminary reports showed that a vehicle struck one person for reasons that are yet to be known. The victim received serious injuries as a result of the accident. It is unclear if the driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene or not after the collision.

Drivers are requested to avoid heading west on Grant Road from North Freeway Road to give way to the investigation. The identity of the injured pedestrian has not been revealed. No other information has been provided.

The incident remains under review.
