On Tuesday evening, one person suffered serious injuries after getting struck by a vehicle in an East Baton Rouge neighborhood.
As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian accident took place a little before 7 p.m. around the intersection of Goodwood Boulevard and Cora Drive in East Baton Rouge. The early reports revealed that a vehicle hit a pedestrian for reasons that are yet to be known.
On arrival, emergency crews rushed the pedestrian to the hospital in serious condition. The identity of the injured victim has not been released at this time. No other details are immediately available.
