On Monday, at least one person suffered serious injuries following a rollover crash in the West Valley.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place just before 12:30 PM in the eastbound lanes of I-10 near 59th Avenue under Loop 202 in west Phoenix. The early reports showed that one of the two cars flipped over as a result of the collision.
Two lanes, including the HOV lane were shut down on eastbound I-10 in that area to give way to the investigation. The identity of the injured victim has not been revealed. Authorities have not provided any other details pertaining to the collision.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
