One person was severely injured after a two-vehicle accident Tuesday on Interstate 15 in Tierrasanta.
As per the initial information, the motorcycle crash took place just before 8 a.m. on the northbound side of the freeway, near Aero Drive. The early reports showed that a motorcycle and a vehicle were involved in the collision.
On arrival, medical personnel transported the motorcyclist to a hospital for treatment of serious trauma. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. The identity of the victim has not been released. No other details have been shared.
An investigation is ongoing.
