One person died in a solo vehicle accident in South Los Angeles on Thursday evening.
The crash happened near the 1200 block of East 23rd Street near Central Avenue around 9:52 p.m.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson Brian Humphery, a vehicle struck a parked truck and the victim was trapped inside.
The person who is yet to be identified was pronounced dead at the scene.
Firefighters and paramedics assisted the crash scene.
No additional information regarding the crash was provided by the officials. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
